Privacy of our user details and email lists
We maintain e-mail lists to keep interested, eligible individuals informed about important topics, notably our members and subscribers to our Newsletter. These lists contain personal information such as names, email addresses, countries, and organisations. These information are stored in a protected area of our Network Attached Storage. Under no circumstances do we share the stored data with third organisations, except if a competent authority demands it under the law. AEA has also access to usernames and passwords to access its intranet. These data are stored on WordPress/CMS only. We do not divulge any user details registered from the Website. However, we are not the author of this software, and are not responsible for any failures in the software to preserve subscriber anonymity.

Opting out and modifying information
Subscribers to our e-mail list may terminate their subscriptions via a link at the bottom of each email sent from info@info.aea-al.org

Who has access to your information?
The data collected in the online restricted area is managed by the AEA Main Office.  We will not distribute your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission.

How can you control your personal contact details?
If you are a subscriber to our intranet or a AEA member, you can modify your profile by logging into wordpress/CMS using your username and password. You can add, delete or modify information regarding your name, organisation, contact details, etc. Know that as a AEA member, the information you choose to share with us on your profile will appear publicly on our website under the page “Members” (accessible via www.aea-al.org/members ). You may update or delete your data and contact details at any time. You just need to login into WordPress/CMS and change your profile accordingly.

We are committed to ensuring that your personal information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
